Lenze’s SMD series of AC drives offers controlled start-up, overload protection, reduced mechanical wear, improved speed and positioning capabilities in a wider range of applications, all at an affordable price. These variable speed drives are based on technology from the U.S. company AC Technology, a member of the Lenze group. They include a removable memory chip and desktop programming module, which can cut programming and service time by 90% when used with Lenze PC-based programming software. Because of this memory chip, the drive is ready to run straight from the box, pre-programmed with a series of factory settings.
