Schmidt offset couplings from Zero-Max are designed for large parallel offset shaft applications where possible damaging sideloads or misalignments may be encountered. They impose no sideloads on the shafts or bearings and eliminate radial shaft vibration. In addition, there is no performance loss for increasing the offset distance. Available for shaft displacements of 0.156 in. to 17.29 in. and torque capacities from 55 in.-lb to 459,000 in.-lb, the offset couplings are designed for printing, paper conversion, robotic, electronic, optical and business machine applications. The coupling can be mounted to shaft hubs or directly to existing machine flanges.
