Plastic caster ideal for wet conditions

The new Maxima plastic caster line from MedCaster is suitable for cart wash and steam-cleaning applications. Available in wheel diameters from four through eight inches, the line has a variety of mounting stems and plates. Each caster is equipped with precision, waterproof ball bearings in the swivel raceway and wheel for ease of mobility and quiet operation under load. Load capacity is up to 264 lb and maximum temperature range is 110C.

Available as a special order, the SX wheel from Darcor offers low rolling resistance over a wide spectrum of weight capacity. It provides the same ergonomic design as the SE wheel at loads of up to one ton per wheel, the highest weight capacity available in a soft, shock-absorbing, solid elastomer wheel. The wheel withstands punishing and continuous-use environments, such as towlines and automatic guided vehicles. In addition, it offers shock absorption, chemical resistance, easy swivelling and zero-maintenance precision bearings as standard.

RWM Casters has engineered a maintenance-free caster that offers an ultra-quiet precision swivel section, consisting of a heavy-duty precision ball bearing that is sealed for life at the factory, protecting against the damaging effects of water, dirt, grit or chemicals. It is capable of handling a wide range of radial and thrust loads. Caster, wheel and truck catalogue gets new look

Catalog No. 290 is Hamilton’s all-new full-line catalogue, featuring 120 pages of updated, detailed illustrations, richer graphics, more user-friendly charts and numerous new colourful photographs. Expanded caster line has huge load capacities

Revvo has introduced the Flexello line of casters and wheels to its range of light-, medium- and heavy-duty casters for a wide variety of uses. The casters are available in load capacities from 13.6 kg to 4,545 kg (30 lb to 10,000 lb) and in wheel diameters from 4 cm to 41 cm (1 5/8 in. to 16 in.). Wheel materials include nylon, rubber tire, pneumatic, cast iron, polyurethane, Flexello Superthane and Flexello Polynyl-Injection. Several casters feature a rugged, kingpin-less design. Accessories and options include truck locks and expanding plugs.

Neoprene wheel stands up to tough conditions

Darcor has added the cut-resistant 400PD neoprene wheel to its product line. Featuring maintenance-free precision sealed bearings, low rolling resistance and quiet operation, this rugged yet soft wheel offers good impact resistance and reduced workplace fatigue in the most punishing applications. Its capacity of 400 lb to 700 lb enables it to withstand severe impact loading.
