News about the machinery industry has taken a primary position on the Machinery & Equipment MRO website, www.mro-esource.com. Now, news bulletins and industry announcements are updated regularly in the NewsBreak section on our home page. As soon as the editorial team learns of developments, events and activities related to the industrial machinery and equipment and MRO markets, it’s posted on the site, front and centre.
It’s a win-win proposition for everyone. We can now report interesting, newsworthy items in an appropriate time frame. Until now, many news items would become stale before the print magazine was ready to go to press, as it’s issued just six times a year.
While we’ll still be reporting the most significant items in our Industry Newswatch pages, items with a short lifespan will first be reported on the NewsBreak section of our website. It’s just one more reason to pay regular visits to www.mro-esource.com.
Some recent items on the NewsBreak section include:
Opening of Calgary rotating equipment repair centre draws large crowds
New compact tapered roller bearing gets ok for train project
Placer Dome mine in Timmins implements Internet-based maintenance program
Satellite-based bearing condition monitoring prevents downtime anywhere
Bearing industry icon Bill Botterill dies after short illness
Mineral oil leak from Mississauga lubricants facility expected to have little impact
Canadian growth shines well above U.S. for power transmission product sales.
And that’s just a few highlights from a brief period. Not until now has there been an information medium so current for the machinery and equipment and MRO industries. We welcome your feedback and suggestions–and your hot news tips too–to email@example.com.
