Gradient Lens Corporation has introduced the long Hawkeye Pro SuperSlim borescope for inspecting for defects in deep bores and narrow tubes. Offered in lengths of 10 in., 14 in. and 17 in., the scopes give sharp, clear views of deep, very narrow bores in machined parts, fuel and hydraulic systems, castings, tubing and more. They have an outside diameter of 2.8 mm (0.110 in.), allowing inspection of bores as small as 1/8 in., and feature a 0-degree direction-of-view, a 40-degree field-of-view and a rotating 90-degree direction-of-view with a mirror tube attachment.
