Alex Milne Associates in Etobicoke, Ont., manufactures a virtually non-toxic air-line lubricant for the Canadian market. Containing no harmful ingredients, this product is available under the Pneu-Green name through supply groups such as Tenaquip and Canadian Bearings, or through Wainbee under its VNT private label lubricant line. In most industrial plants, fog in the air is usually created by hydraulic lubricants. The additives in these lubricants are not suited for workers’ lungs. As a result, many plants are now switching to the non-toxic OccUsafe products.
