Envirosight’s QuickView zoom inspection camera now allows engineers to inspect a broader range of underground infrastructures, and to capture and display video at a higher resolution. An extended targeting leg allows the camera to inspect drop lines (pipes entering a manhole from an elevated position) with precision and stability. Camera height can be varied up to 5 ft. Pole extensions also are available, allowing inspection of manholes as deep as 48 ft. A 6-ft carbon fibre extension is available, as is a segmented glass-fibre extension that adds 6-18 ft of depth. These extens ions are available for all QuickView cameras that have a telescoping carbon-fibre pole. In addition, the video display/recorder has been upgraded to support high definition. The 7-in. colour LCD screen offers nine times the pixel resolution of the previous 4-in. screen. The extended targeting leg can be ordered with a new system or as a retrofit to existing systems.
