Rockwell Automation has introduced a line of Dodge Grip Tight adapter ball bearings specifically for washdown environments in the food and beverage industry. An easy-on, easy-off solution for damage-free shafting, reduced vibration and greater maintenance and inventory cost savings, these bearings are available in E-Z Kleen polymer and 300-series stainless steel housings for superior resistance to contaminants and corrosion. In order to extend maintenance-free operation, the bearings have been engineered to run at higher speeds and operate cooler for longer grease life. An interchangeable housing design for the ball bearings allows inventory to be reduced.
