Acrylic enamels protect against rust

Krylon Industrial Rust Tough acrylic alkyd and aerosol enamels from Diversified Brands feature a rust inhibitor that offers corrosion protection in one coat. The acrylic alkyd enamel is a high-solids maintenance coating with a hard, high-gloss finish that can be applied direct to metal. Designed for both interior and exterior use, it is suitable for such applications as storage tanks, structural steel, machinery, piping, conveyors and metal doors. Containers include 1-gal pails, 5-gal pails and 53-gal drums in 22 colours. The aerosol enamel, suitable for indoor and outdoor touch-up applications and hard-to-reach areas, is easily applied using Krylon’s Ez Touch Fanspray nozzle. It is offered in 20-oz cans, with four fluorescent and 25 regular colours available. Both products also are available in OSHA safety blue, yellow, orange and red.
