Aimed at end users who are involved or associated with hazardous areas, this detailed course focuses on laying a solid foundation and understanding of key safety factors associated with working in or around hazardous areas. It is also intended for those individuals who wish to undertake IECEx Competence Assessment for Ex 001 • Basic Principles of Protection in Explosive Atmospheres. Participants will gain a clear understanding of key elements such as personnel safety, International Certification Schemes, properties of flammable materials, equipment protection methods and cable and wiring systems. In addition, the course offers a comprehensive overview of important topics such as Hazardous Area Zoning and legislation.
