Blackline Safety leadership changes

Blackline Safety Corp. announced changes to its leadership team.

Sean Stinson, currently chief growth officer, add the role of president. Stinson will assume the leadership of software and professional service offerings, including Blackline Vision custom analytics. He will continue to lead all revenue generating activities, including sales, customer success and channel management.

He joined Blackline in 2013 and has held progressively senior roles, including sales, product, data services, user experience, client success and customer care. Prior to Blackline, he held leadership roles in engineering and project management at BW Technologies and Honeywell.

Christine Gillies, currently chief marketing officer, will now have the expanded role of chief product and marketing officer. She joined Blackline two years ago, and led global marketing initiatives including brand, product marketing, demand generation and corporate communications.

Meaghan Whitney, currently vice-president of people servicestakes on the role of chief people officer. In her new role, Whitney will be responsible for all aspects of human resources, including health and safety, talent acquisition, employee engagement, benefits, and learning and development.

She will work closely with the executive team to develop and implement strategic initiatives. With over 13 years of human resource experience and is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources and a Certified Professional in the Society of Human Resource Management.

Brendon Cook, Co-founder, takes on the role of chief information officer. He will oversee information, computing and systems technologies across the company. Working with compliance, security, and privacy teams, he will also support teams who focus on certifications and quality standards.
