Aquapak Polymers partners with Industrial Physics to create a harmonized set of water vapor transmission rate (WVTR) testing methods for its Hydropol biodegradable polymer.
Hydropol is water soluble, biodegradable, non-toxic and UV resistant. It offers multiple end-of-life options such as recyclability, composability, and compatibility with anaerobic digestion plants.
Aquapak approached Industrial Physics to support them in developing a repeatable and reliable test method for WVTR for its Hydropol biodegradable polymer.
“Allowing the WVTR test to reach equilibrium means that we are confident in the results,” Max Phippard, quality control manager, Aquapak. “Over the last few months, we have carried out full analysis of multi-layer samples to gain an understanding of how our customers can replicate their own WVTR testing regime on Hydropol.”
