Uranium Energy becomes the largest North American uranium company

Uranium Energy (UEC) completed the acquisition of UEX Corporation. The arrangement was approved at a meeting of UEX security holders and was approved by the Supreme Court of British Columbia.

“We are pleased to have completed our acquisition of UEX,” said Amir Adnani, president and CEO, UEC. “This marks UEC’s second successful highly accretive M&A transaction in the last year, creating the largest diversified North American focused uranium company.”
