Johnson Level and Tool is celebrating 75 years of operation since its founding in 1947. Johnson launched a year-long campaign, #Johnson75, consisting of contests, polls, events, and limited-edition commemorative rafter squares and bamboo levels. Information regarding the campaign can be found on Johnson’s social media and website pages.

“The last 75 years have given us plenty of reasons to celebrate,” said Peter Chatel, president, Hultafors Group North America. “We’ve grown from a small wood level manufacturing company into a dominant global manufacturer of high-quality levels, lasers, and measuring tools. But we aren’t satisfied solely with looking back on our history as a leading level and layout tool brand. We are looking to the next 75 years of innovative tools engineered for professionals to work faster, safer, and smarter on every job they perform.”

Johnson hosted an open house on July 14 for its founders, neighbours, retail partners, vendors, and employees as a thank you for their contribution to the business.
