Sarens has acquired three Grove GMK5150L units that will be dedicated to the construction of wind farms in Alberta, beginning later this year.
The purchase is part of Sarens’ $5.5 million investment, aimed at strengthening its leadership position in crane rental services, heavy lifting, and engineered transport in the region.
The cranes have a lifting capacity of 175 US tons each with a 197 feet main boom, and can increase the lifting capacity to an additional 15 US tons.
