Recently, representatives from PEMAC were a part of the fourth annual Asset Management Collaboration Workshop hosted by Federation of Canadian Municipalities and Municipal Asset Management Program.
Over 100 people took in the three-day online workshop. Which allowed for collaboration and knowledge sharing among organizations and individuals. Attendees helped to work to build municipal asset management capacity in Canada.
Guest speaker David Mitchell, Mayor Mayor Town of Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, shared a story of a community leading the way in integrating climate considerations into their daily operations. Next, a panel discussion focused on the realities of operational asset management as a driving force behind regular municipal activities.
Virtual networking was front and centre, as participants moved about virtual tables at the workshop.
