Bowman International appoints Executive Vice-President for North America

Bowman International announced the appointment of Alistair Brixey as Executive Vice-President of Bowman North American Operations.

“Bowman brings to market genuine bearing innovation that solves very real issues faced by many critical sectors across North America in both plain and rolling element bearings. I am delighted to be joining such a dedicated team and look forward to bringing Bowman’s customer-centric approach to bearing design to the fore in the U.S.,” said Brixey.

Brixey brings to his new role over four decades of industry experience both in the U.K. and U.S., most recently dedicating 13 years to a plain bearing manufacturer and distributor in the U.S., and before that, working for Oilite bearings for 30 years in the U.K.

Brixey is also a committee member of the U.S. Bearing Specialists Association.

“We are confident that with Alistair at the helm, our American clients will be well looked after. We have further investment planned for the U.S. which gives us confidence that our presence in the region will follow a steep upwards trajectory,” said Paul Hancock, Chairman, Bowman International.
