EMC Personnel Changes

Excellence in Manufacturing Consortium (EMC) has made a number of change to its personnel.

Amanda Doman, will be taking on the role of Vice-President and General Manager at EMC, she was most recently Director of Finance.

“Since starting with EMC 20 years ago, I have watched manufacturers change and evolve with new products and technologies,” said Doman. “It has been great to be part of our initiatives that allow us to assist these companies as they grow.  I am excited to see the changes that are yet to come and what the future holds for manufacturing!”

Scott McNeil-Smith, takes on the role of Vice-President, Manufacturing Sector Performance, he was most recently National Director, Projects and Partnerships.

“Working with the many thousands of manufacturers EMC has touched over the past 20+ years, has been both a privilege and an exciting challenge,” said McNeil-Smith. “As we continue the next phase of helping industry of all sizes to foresee the path towards excellence, Canada’s largest manufacturing consortium will be looking at needs, capabilities and solutions that have not been envisioned yet. I look forward to what the future will bring for EMC and its members, helping the Canadian manufacturing sector to grow and prosper.”

Bren de Leeuw, is transitioning into the role of Vice-President, Community Partnerships and Stakeholder Relationships, she was most recently Operations Manager, Western Canada.

“I am absolutely delighted to be contributing to the success and growth of our EMC members and for Canadian manufacturers as a whole,” said Leeuw. “After nearly 20 years at EMC, without a doubt I continue to be amazed at the depth and breadth of products produced and marvel at the entrepreneurial spirit, ongoing ingenuity and at the innovative ideas which spur Canadian industry forward in a constantly growing global marketplace. Believing in the value that EMC has to offer Canadian Manufacturers I am always eager to share the countless benefits available for companies to grow and become more competitive, together.”
