The Canadian Tooling and Machining Association is hosting a series of fall breakfast seminar in the southern Ontario region this October.
The seminars (which include breakfast) will take place on the following dates and locations:
Windsor – October 22
Kitchener – October 23
Mississauga – October 24
The topic for the seminars will be Doing Business in an Uncertain, Threatening, Tariffied World. Canadian companies face a slowing global economy and uncertain global trade environment. Rising global protectionism, escalating tariffs between the US and China, and the possibility of a no-deal Brexit pose serious challenges for Canadian companies operating in global markets.
Export Development Canada’s Deputy Chief Economist, Stephen Tapp, will discuss recent global developments, outlooks for the North American economies, ramifications for Canadian trade and manufacturing, and what it means for your business.
