Industry event focuses on the creation and implementation of standard work

Burlington, ON –  Excellence in Manufacturing Consortium (EMC), together with local industry, are inviting Burlington and Oakville manufacturers and stakeholders to a special industry event, focused on strategies to introduce, deploy and achieve the benefits of standard work.

The event is being hosted November 16th, 2017 (8:30 – 10:30am), Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre – Meeting Room 1, 2302 Bridge Road, Oakville, ON.

Speakers include: Al Diggins, President and GM of EMC (Canada’s largest not-for-profit manufacturing consortium); and Devin Melanson, Senior Advisor, Value Stream Solutions Inc., a leading productivity firm with North America-wide experience working with manufacturers on these issues.

This event will be beneficial to local industry senior management and champions in the key areas of their organizations. Attendees will learn about the value of introducing standard work for manufacturers as it pertains to increasing productivity and quality. Discussions will be focused on the pitfalls encountered and strategies deployed by manufacturers to achieve consistent, sustainable performance.
