Schneider Industries to auction packaging equipment from closed General Mills

West Chicago, Ill. – Following the liquidations of the General Mills Cereal and Snack Production Facility in West Chicago, Ill., Schneider Industries, Inc., an industry leader in equipment auctions and plant closure clean outs, will auction off assets specific to food processing and packaging.

On Tuesday, August 22nd, a three-day online only equipment auction will commence, featuring over 1,800 lots of top quality packaging and rocessing equipment.

The assets in this Internet Only Auction includes some of the most well-known, high quality processing and packaging equipment featuring:
Wolverine & Proctor dryers; Ishida scales; Jones Cartoners; Rovema & Bosch Baggers; and plant support equipment including forklifts, scissor lifts, blowers and dust collectors.

Lots in this Internet only auction will begin closing on Tuesday, August 22, at 10 a.m. CDT, continuing at 10 a.m. CDT on Wednesday, August 23, and will conclude at 10 a.m. CDT on Thursday, August 24. Internet bidding will be facilitated by BidSpotter.com. When a bidder registers for one day, they will automatically be registered for all three days. Onsite inspection will be available the week of August 14-18 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. CDT at the facility at 704 W Washington Street, West Chicago, IL 60185.
