Manufacturing consortium announces field service advisor for GTA and York Regions

Owen Sound, Ont. – Excellence in Manufacturing Consortium (EMC), a not-for-profit consortium serving Canada’s manufacturing industry, has appointed Tonya Starr as Field Service Advisor for the Ontario communities of Brampton, Mississauga, Milton and Orangeville.

With a career that spans nearly 23 years in manufacturing, Tonya has joined EMC to work with and support manufacturers in the GTA and Peel regions. Tonya’s experience has included working for several manufacturers including AG Simpson, Hematite and most recently Velcro Canada. Her experience includes working in areas of leadership, human capital and administration. In addition, Tonya brings with her an in-depth knowledge of WSIB and Health and Safety in both union and non-unionized environments.
