Belting association and power transmission distributors association host joint summit

April 7, 2017 | By MRO Magazine

Madison, Wisc., and Chicago, Ill. – Planning is well under way for the NIBA/PTDA Joint Industry Summit, September 27-30, at The Diplomat Beach Resort in Hollywood, Florida, for top executives and those who aspire to leadership among distributors and manufacturers in the belting and power transmission/motion control industries. The one-time, combined meeting presents an opportunity for cross-channel/cross-industry networking and collaboration between the two industries during a powerful three days.

NIBA – The Belting Association and the Power Transmission Distributors Association (PTDA) are combining all that’s best about the NIBA Annual Convention and the PTDA Industry Summit into the NIBA/PTDA Joint Industry Summit. Volunteers from NIBA and PTDA are working to create a truly unique networking and education event for members, with much more information being made available through 2017 at NIBAPTDA.org.

To kick off event participation, organizers prepared an FAQ document for those who want to learn more about the synergies they hope to build from a one-time combined annual conference about what participants can expect in 2017 from this groundbreaking event.

The FAQs are posted at the newly launched event website at NIBAPTDA.org/About and provide answers to questions such as:
·  Why are NIBA and PTDA holding a joint meeting?
·  How will each association’s signature events – NIBA’s Expo and PTDA’s MD-IDEX – be merged for this Joint Industry Summit?
·  How many people do you expect?

Manufacturers who wish to stand out are now reserving event sponsorships and booth space in the Joint MD-IDEX/Expo, a blended fast networking/trade show event that combines the best of both associations’ signature events.
