Mississauga, ON – The 12th Reinventing Maintenance conference, taking place in Mississauga, ON, Oct. 20-22, 2015, will bring together senior maintenance and engineering professionals from major Canadian companies. One aim of the conference program is to help prove to senior management the value of a well-managed maintenance department in times of economic uncertainty.

Maintenance managers often find themselves walking a tightrope balancing the need to keep machines running for maximum output while avoiding expensive unplanned stoppages and costly repairs. The current sluggish economy has increased the difficulty of this high-wire act, making success even more critical and failure even more dangerous.

To help deal with this, senior maintenance professionals from several Canadian organizations will discuss how they are increasing operational time, reducing downtime and controlling costs. The include: Blount Canada Ltd., Canadian Nuclear Laboratories, Canadian Tire, City of Markham, City of Toronto, Give and Go Prepared Foods, IKO Industries, Mondelez International Inc. and Patheon Inc.,

The conference also features practical workshop sessions on Strategies for Excellence in Maintenance Management and Key Measures for Predictive Maintenance.

The event takes place at the Novotel Toronto Mississauga Centre, 3670 Hurontario Street, Mississauga. For more information, call 416-665-6868 or 1-800-363-0722 or visit

  1. Hi Bill

Do you have manufactures involvement in this conference?

    • Bill Roebuck says:

If you mean, is there a trade show with manufacturers exhibiting, no, this conference does not offer that.
