Manufacturing website gets nod from Interactive Media Council


coverWalter_2Montreal, QC – Walter Surface Technologies, a supplier of surface treatment technologies, is the recipient of a 2015 Interactive Media Award (IMA) for ‘Best in Class’ websites in the Manufacturing category.

In order to win this award level, the site had to meet strict guidelines in each area – an achievement only a fraction of sites in the IMA competition earn each year. The judging consisted of various criteria, including design, content, feature functionality, usability and standards compliance. The IMA competition is an international initiative designed to recognize excellence in website design.

The Walter.com web site had been totally redesigned to deliver an enhanced user experience with improved navigation and functionality throughout. The new site enables Walter customers to quickly access comprehensive product information, technical specifications, application guidelines, videos, blogs, a robust media centre and dealer locator links – with the ability to easily share content across all major social networking sites.
