Mississauga, ON – Michael Marion and Cormac Kerins have been appointed to new positions with Atlas Copco Portable Energy Canada. Marion has been named national business development manager and Kerins is now the product and business development manager.

Marion manages the power generation business, which includes both prime power generators and light towers, while Kerins focuses on portable air products, including compressors and boosters as well as pumps. Both managers report to Michael Sue, vice-president and business line manager for Atlas Copco Portable Energy Canada.

Marion has over 20 years of experience working with various types of construction equipment, including generators, light towers, portable compressors, motor graders, articulated trucks and wheel loaders. He also has an extensive background in industrial engines, with over 10 years of product management experience, and is a licensed heavy duty mechanic. In his new role, Marion will be focusing on the sustainable growth of Atlas Copco’s Portable Power products in various segments within the Canadian market, while supporting customers in several applications and industries.

Kerins has worked in the compressor industry the past three years as quality assurance engineer at Atlas Copco’s main airpower product company in Antwerp, Belgium. He earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Ireland. Kerins will play an important role in the further development of the established portfolio of Atlas Copco Portable Air products in all major segments in Canada.
