Stamford, CT – Newport Electronics Inc. was merged into Omega Engineering Inc. at the start of 2014. Newport has been a supplier of high-precision test, measurement, process control and automation instrumentation for more than four decades, having begun manufacturing electronic instrumentation in 1965.
As a part of Omega, the company will do business under the Omega name. Newport will continue to produce products such as signal conditioners, transmitters and controllers.
