PEMAC maintenance association names new board

Calgary, AB – The Plant Engineering and Maintenance Association of Canada (PEMAC) elected a new board of directors at its annual general meeting in Calgary on Nov. 18, 2013.


Calgary, AB – The Plant Engineering and Maintenance Association of Canada (PEMAC) elected a new board of directors at its annual general meeting in Calgary on Nov. 18, 2013.

Rob Lash, manager of optimized maintenance at Toronto Water, was re-elected as president of the association; Alan Johnson, senior consultant in physical asset management, Clearpass & Associates, was re-elected as vice-president; and Cliff Williams, maintenance manger, ERCO Worldwide,  was re-elected as a director

New members elected at the AGM include David MacPherson, operational services manager, Cameco Cigar Lake Mine; J.-P. Pascoli, engineering and maintenance manager, Cameco Port Hope Conversion Facility; João Ricciarelli, president, SKF Canada; and Sridhar Ramakrishan, lead, asset management for new projects, Suncor Energy.

Existing board members who are serving their second year of a two-year term include directors Dharmen Dhaliah. Amin Elsherif, Bill Hall, Susan Lubell and Len Middleton. Kim Hunt retains the role as treasurer and Greg Sanford stays as secretary, with Brian Malloch remaining the past president.

Expiring directors who did not stand for re-election include Bill Thrasher and Chris Yexley. Those who had previously resigned from the board were directors Roop Lutchman and D’Arcy Wilson.
