July 2, 2013 – A full line of mounted points offered in cotton fiber, unitized and rubber constructions are available from Rex-Cut Abrasives. Rex-Cut mounted points are available made from cotton fiber, unitized, and rubber for all types of deburring, blending, and polishing applications. Cotton fiber points reveal fresh abrasives as they work and can debur and finish in one-step. Unitized points are softer and more resilient than cotton for in-hole polishing and touching up decorative finishes and rubber points are well suited for very light deburring and surface cleaning, says the company. Cotton fiber and megabrite unitized are available with aluminum oxide or silicon carbide abrasives and different bonds, while the rubber mounted points are made with an aluminum oxide grain and calendar synthetic rubber.
