Glen Ellyn, IL — When Lt. Col. Robert ‘Waldo’ Waldman comes to the podium Sunday May 5 as one of the key presenters at the Bearing Specialists Association (BSA) 2013 Annual Convention at the Westin Hilton Head Island Resort and Spa in Hilton Head, SC, attendees will know they are in for a dynamic lesson in leadership.

Waldman’s message is straightforward: Winners never fly solo. A graduate of the Air Force Academy, Waldman is a highly decorated F-16 fighter pilot with more than 65 combat missions in Iraq and Serbia. But he’d also earned his wings in business as a top sales producer for several companies before founding his own peak performance firm, Wingman Consulting.

Wadman teaches organizations and individuals how to build trusting, revenue-producing relationships with their employees, partners, and customers — while sharing his experiences as a decorated combat fighter pilot and businessman.

Waldman’s presentation, ‘We’re All in This to Win’, was selected for BSA’s 2013 Convention because he is himself a winner who knows the value of the right team. As the ‘world’s premier bearing industry event for authorized distributors of bearing products and services and the manufacturers of those products’, BSA’s Annual Convention is designed to strengthen and develop the essential partnership between distributor and manufacturer.

Waldman believes that in today’s highly competitive business world, organizations that foster trust and work as high-performance partners will dodge the missiles of adversity and win. He says the challenge is to make your customers and your distribution chain partners your wingman, all committed to mutual success.

Waldman is the founder and president of The Patriot Group and the author of the New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestseller Never Fly Solo.

BSA’s 2013 Annual Convention is May 4-7 and has the theme, ‘We’re All in This to Win’. The event features an outstanding lineup of speakers selected to help attendees move their companies to the winners circle in the recovering economy.

The BSA Annual Convention is the only industry event that brings together the top leadership of authorized bearing distributors and manufacturers. For additional information, visit the convention website, www.bsaconventions.org.

BSA is the ‘must belong to organization for authorized bearing distributors.’ An international service and educational organization of distributors representing a total of almost 100 companies distributing factory-warranted, anti-friction bearings and invited manufacturers of bearings and related products, the association’s mission says, “BSA is the forum to enhance networking and knowledge sharing and promote the sale of bearings through authorized distributors.”
