Cedar Falls, IA – IDEX Corporation recently announced the promotion of Fenton Challgren to president of Chemical, Food & Process (CFP), which includes three business units, Viking Pump, Wright Flow Technologies, located in Cedar Falls, IA, and Richter Chemie, located in Kempen, Germany.

Challgren has been with IDEX for six years. His most recent role has been general manager of Viking Pump, which celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2011.

“The opportunity to lead the CFP group is very exciting,” says Challgren. “I look forward to working with the high-performing, customer-focused teams both in Cedar Falls and in Germany.”

Viking Pump designs and manufactures rotary positive displacement pumps for thousands of liquids and applications. Richter Chemie-Technik provides, for the process industry, plastic-lined magnetic drive process pumps for conveying corrosive, environmentally critical and high-purity fluids, especially with high pressure and temperature requirements and large flow volumes. Wright Flow Technologies offers technologies such as rotary lobe, circumferential piston, AODD, and magnetic and turbine flow meters. This portfolio provides solutions to applications in the food, dairy, beverages, personal care, pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical and other special industries.
