Milwaukee Gear will bring a wider range of gearing solutions and further expand the global reach of Regal Beloit’s Mechanical segment, according to Mark Gliebe, chairman and chief executive officer. The business is a “great fit,” he said.
“Our recent acquisition of Milwaukee Gear strengthens our Mechanical [segment] offerings and increases our presence in the growing oil and gas space,” Gliebe said.
Milwaukee Gear, established 94 years ago, specializes in standard and custom gears. It caters to a worldwide client base with highly engineered gearing components used in oil and gas applications and many other commercial and industrial applications.
