Chicago, IL – To help professionals in the power transmission/motion control (PT/MC) industry sharpen their communication and leadership skills, the Power Transmission Distributors Association (PTDA) offers its Spring Leaders Conference, scheduled for March 16-17, 2012, in Charleston, SC, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Suites.

The dynamic Spring Leaders Conference has something for every leadership level. Day one begins with committee meetings for the Association’s volunteers, followed by a General Educational Session. Leaders of all levels from all PTDA member companies are invited to participate in this General Educational Session, which will feature a hands-on, interactive exercise designed to spark clearer communications among supply chain partners. As veteran facilitator Jim Paglia of consulting firm In’s & Out’s LLC guides attendees through the process of interpreting images, participants can become more attuned to how they are communicating – both consciously and subconsciously.

Day two features the Leadership Development Conference, where executives can hone their management and relationship-building skills. Also facilitated by Paglia, this session helps attendees become better bosses, develop effective communication skills and establish productive working relationships.

As a bonus, those who register for the Leadership Development Conference attend the General Educational Session at no additional charge. Or, participants may register to attend just the General Educational Session portion of the conference.
