Mississauga, ON — Tompkins Industries Inc. of Olathe, KS,  has finalized a merger with Can-Am Hydraulic Products Ltd. of Mississauga, ON. The new division is now known as Tompkins Canada. Sean McGuinness, former president of Can-Am Hydraulic, is general manager of the new division.

“I am really excited,” says McGuinness. “This merger means we’ll be able to provide our customers with many new products such as ball valves and test point fittings. As Tompkins Canada, we’ll also be expanding our line of hydraulic adapters and other tube fittings and accessories.”

Tompkins Canada will carry a full-range of hydraulic adapters and fluid power products, including flanges, quick-disconnect couplings, test points, gauges, ball-valves (full-sized and mini), drain and needle valves. Hydraulic fittings are available in steel, brass and stainless steel, in SAE and metric sizes, for working pressures to 10,000 psi.

Additionally, Tompkins’ support resources are also available now to the Tompkins Canada customer. These include free 2D and 3D CAD models for hundreds of hydraulic adapters; industry service training videos on proper hydraulic fitting assembly techniques; and downloadable resource guides including a Hydraulic Adapter Quick Reference Guide.
