Milton, ON — The Canadian Welding Association has planned a fun, information-packed event for for its first annual conference at the Blue Mountain Resort in Collingwood, ON, set for Sept. 26-28, 2010.

Members are invited to come out and learn how their companies can benefit from improved process technologies and production efficiencies, while driving the welding industry toward the global competitiveness.

Delegates will have the opportunity to become familiar with new technological developments in: welding research, maintenance and repair analysis, applied research, productivity improvement methodologies, robotic intelligence, recent laser advancements, welding gas applications, spatter free welding, recent welding power source evolution, pipe automation implementation for the oil sands industry, process automation, lean manufacturing applications, and cost analysis.

The registration fee includes all meals, business meetings and social programs. The cost is $500 for members, $625 for non-members and $350 for students, plus tax.
