Lee Linear, a manufacturer of linear motion components, says it now provides fast turnaround of high quality end-machined precision rolled ball screws. The company says the ball screws have consistent predictability, high load capacities, broad range of sizes and leads, and rapid custom end machining.
Lee’s vice-president, Jim Ashworth, explains, “Lee’s rolled ball screws are the finest on the market. Our ball screws maintain their accuracy and quality while remaining cost effective.  Even at high speeds, they offer quiet and smooth operation.”
Made from induction case hardened alloy steel, they are integrally sealed, operate at over 92-percent efficiency, and are available in both inch and metric configurations. These products exhibit long life, smooth motion, and high accuracy ideal for close tolerance work. To effectively reduce backlash, Le Linear ball screws and ball nuts are precision manufactured to match and are available in regular, high-lead and miniature flange types.
“Selecting the correct ball screw may be challenging,” Ashworth said.  “Our customers can rely on their Lee representative to work with them to determine the ball screw, nut type, thread length, and total length which is best suited for the application.”
Lee Linear is a U.S. manufacturer of precision linear motion components, including Roller Bearing Pillow Blocks, Precision Linear Ball and Composite Bearings and Pillow Blocks, 60 Plus, C1060, and 440C Stainless Steel Precision Case Hardened Shafting, Pre-Drilled and Tapped Shafting, Pre-Drilled Shaft Supports, Slide Tables and Systems.  The company also offers such accessory items as Carriage Locks, Carriage Plates, Ball Screws, and more!
