Georgian College info session on maintenance management program
Georgian College and the Plant Engineering & Maintenance Association of Canada (PEMAC) will hold an information session on professional and workforce development on Aug. 31, 2010, at the college’s Barrie Campus.
PEMAC and Georgian College invite you to an information session on professional and workforce development. PEMAC is a national association providing global leadership, education and certification in world-class maintenance, reliability and physical asset management practices.
Maintenance Management Professional (MMP) Certification Program
The program is designed specifically for:
- Participants aspiring to maintenance management and supervisory positions
- Participants employed in maintenance management position, requiring formal training, accreditation, professional and national recognition (MPP)
- Participants requiring focused training in a particular MPP module
The program is for personnel responsible for maintaining the physical assets of their businesses, to ensure that effective capacity, reliability, economic life cycle, safety and environmental compliancy and ROI (return on investment) are achieved.
This information session will provide an overview of the program and the eight modules required for certificate completion. The program, developed by PEMAC with funding provided by the province of Ontario, is now delivered across Canada through the Schools of Continuing Education departments of Canadian colleges, institutes and universities. To be offered at Georgian College’s Barrie Campus in fall 2010 (subject to enrolment requirements being met).
