Trotman is a professional engineer and has an MBA degree. He has 20 years of experience in industrial distribution in Canada with a major US multinational firm.
In other news, Gordon Duncan, president of Kinecor, has taken an early retirement from the company. Doyens of industry gathered at a special ‘Bye Bye Gordie’ dinner held in Hudson, QC, in early June to wish him the best in his future endeavours.
Kinecor, a division of Wajax Income Fund, is a distributor of mobile equipment, power systems and industrial components. Kinecor was created in 2001 with the amalgamation of National Bearings Inc., Spencer Industries, Spencer Teris Ltd. (also known as Industrial Chrome in Prince George, BC), Motion Technologies and Wajax Process Technologies. It now has more than 60 branches across Canada.
