Airdrie, AB — Rick Hampton, Eaton director of electrical sales (Canada), has announced the appointment of Kevin Tychkowsky to district sales manager, Prairies, Canada. In late 2008, Tychkowsky became product line manager for motor control centres, fire pump controllers and oil well controllers at the Eaton plant in Airdrie, AB.
He has a Technology diploma in electrical engineering from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) with a CET designation. He will continue to reside in the Calgary area.
In addition, Roger Hick, who preceded Tychkowsky as district sales manager, was recently appointed business operations manager for Eaton’s Edmonton Power Centre.
As well, Steve Boccadoro, Eaton vice-president and general manager, has announced the appointment of Amir Messih to the position of plant manager, low voltage control assemblies, Airdrie, AB. Messih will lead both of the Airdrie and Calgary operations.
Messih has successfully completed several progressive assignments within Eaton Corp. Most recently, he has been a program manager at the Eaton Quality Institute, Southfield, MI. As part of this role, he had global responsibility for the company’s Six Sigma program, including strategy, deployment and sustainability across the enterprise. He holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Michigan – Flint, Masters of Engineering from the University of Calgary, and Bachelor of Science, Industrial Engineering from the University of Alexandria.
