TGW announces two new appointments

TGW-Ermanco, a leading integrated logistics solutions provider, announced that Kevin Tedford has joined the company as VP of Software Development and Engineering. In this role, Tedford will be responsible for providing the necessary leadership in TGW’s North American software development efforts.
Tedford brings a broad knowledge both domestically and internationally with his working experience at KT Consulting LLC, Forte Industries, and McHugh Software International (now Red Prairie).
“Kevin’s core areas of experience in software development project management and his deep knowledge of warehouse management and warehouse control systems make him well qualified for this position,” said Larry Strayhorn, President of TGW-Ermanco. “He will be able to make an immediate impact in this newly created position.”
Meanwhile, the company also announced that Roger Potter has joined the company as Manager – Controls Engineering. In this role, Potter will be responsible for developing TGW’s controls standards and products, and for the technical leadership and direction in all phases of a controls engineering project.
Prior to joining TGW, Potter was with Dematic. “Roger’s over 14 years of management and controls project experience in the material handling industry will make an immediate impact on TGW,” said Larry Strayhorn, President of TGW-Ermanco. “His project management and development experience for many controls related efforts, including controls systems for AS/RS, package conveyor, distributed controls, induction, and sortation make him a great fit for this position. We’re excited to have him onboard.”
