Brantford, ON — A year after joining Renold Canada Ltd. as president, Rick Hamilton has been appointed president of Renold Americas, Morristown, TN. In this position, Hamilton is responsible for all sales operations in the United States, Canada and Latin America.
The appointment is effective as of Sept. 28, 2009 (Hamilton had joined Renold Canada on Sept. 2, 2008). He will continue to report to George Graham, managing director, Global Chain Sales, Renold plc.
“We are pleased Rick accepted this position with the Renold organization,” said Graham. “He has the vision and ability to lead the Renold Americas group to greater success.”
Hamilton was president of Renold Canada over the past year. He has previously held strategic positions at Martin Sprocket & Gear Inc. and Emerson Power Transmission Corp. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M University, College of Engineering.
Renold Americas is part of Renold plc, Manchester, England, an international engineering group that produces a wide range of precision-engineered products. The organization manufactures and markets industrial chains and related power transmission products that are used in a wide range of applications, including forestry, mining, theme parks, food and beverage production, and manufacturing operations.
