OH&S Due Diligence: The Elusive Standard (Part III)

A continuing challenge for Canadian employers is the development of practical and effective systems that meet occupational health and safety (OH&S) due diligence standards expected by government officials and the courts. The two prior PEM articles have discussed the legal principles that underpin due diligence defences. This last of a three-part series on OH&S due diligence fundamentals focuses on a number of the practical steps necessary to live up to these principles.
