Montreal, QC — The 2009 Plant Maintenance and Design Engineering Show (PMDS) taking place at Place Bonaventure in Montreal May 12-14 is designed for manufacturing professionals from throughout Quebec to find the products, services and information they need to stay competitive.
At the event, top companies from Quebec and beyond will present innovative solutions for plant and facility maintenance and equipment and systems design. Also featured will be a new Green Solutions program and an Innovations program highlighting the latest technologies.
At the special Advanced Manufacturing Pavilion, visitors can discover new ways to incorporate cutting-edge technology to optimize operations and streamline productivity. Exhibitors in this section will present products and services for automation, electronics, assembly, robotics, bar coding and process control.
The event is organized by the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) in cooperation with its Quebec partners. It includes a comprehensive conference program with technical sessions, an industry keynote address and an interactive town hall panel discussion.
The PMDS Town Hall Experience has the theme: The Business of Maintenance, Reliability, and Physical Asset Management in These Distressed Economic Times. As well, a PMDS conference features sessions led by industry experts (presentations are in french only).
