Danvers, MA — Ian Goodland, Canadian business manager for ITW Devcon, has been promoted to international business manager. He now heads up all of Devcon’s international and inter-company business, as well as retaining his duties and responsibilities for Canada, reports Chris Stevens, general manager.
ITW Devcon supplies adhesive technology and products for industrial OEM assembly and maintenance/repair (MRO) applications. The company’s brands include Devcon and Permatex.
“Ian has enjoyed a distinguished 25-year career at Devcon, beginning as a mining specialist and progressing to his current role,” says Stevens. “In this position, Ian has grown our Canadian revenues substantially. He has nurtured and built a strong sales team in Canada and will translate these practices and experiences to further grow our emerging markets in South and Central America., as well as co-coordinating Devcon’s inter-company businesses in Asia and Australasia.
“Ian has interacted with many of Devcon’s international inter-company affiliates and customers around the world and will leverage those relationships to coordinate and maximize Devcon’s global branding and product sales. His considerable managerial talents and personal character are ideally suited to his new position and responsibility as international business manager.”
