Despite the challenging economic climate, pump maker KSB has decided to open a new regional office for Quebec. The main focus will be on municipal and industrial customers and consulting engineering firms from ‘La Belle Province’.

 

Makram (Mak) Mouhli will head the new KSB base in the Montreal area as regional business development manager.

Mouhli, a native from Tunisia and a mechanical engineer with many years of experience in the KSB world, is fluent in FrenchMississauga, ON —  and English. “Makram knows our products inside-out — and brings valuable knowledge to existing and new customers in the French-Canadian market,” underlines Jens-Uwe Strunk, president of Mississauga-based KSB Pumps Inc.

 

KSB Canada serves customers coast-to-coast. It currently employs a staff of 16 — and works closely with selected local distributors. In addition to the new Quebec office, Western Canada is supported through a regional sales office in Calgary, AB.
