Brussels, Belgium — The European Power Transmission Distributors Association (EPTDA) has increased its membership with nine new distributor members, six new manufacturer members and three new associate members in 2007.
The new distributors represent Germany with four companies, Italy with one company, The Netherlands with two companies and, for the first time, Slovenia with one company. These are, respectively: Faber Industrietechnik GmbH, Zitec Industrietechnik GmbH, ASW Wlager und Antriebstechnik GmbH, Altmann GmbH & Co.KG; Rima Spa; Ammertech BV, A.Z. Hollink B.V.; and from Slovenia, M&M Intercom D.O.O.
The six manufacturers are from Italy — Megadyne srl and Bonfiglioli spa; Germany — mbo Osswald GmbH & Co KG; UK — Altra Industrial Motion and Thomson; and Israel — Volta Belting Technology Ltd.
Associate members are firms, corporations or individuals who provide services directly related to operating a business in the power transmission/motion control industry. Three associate members joined EPTDA in 2007: Thought Leaders International from France, Deutsche Messe from Germany and IMS Research from the United Kingdom.
EPTDA is preparing a due welcome to these new members at its upcoming annual convention in Monaco, scheduled from Sept. 19-21, 2007. Over 350 participants are expected to attend the industry event. Registration is open until the start of the convention and on-site registration will be available in Monaco.
