Toronto, ON — ISA Toronto has appointed Glen Doole as president for the 2007-2008 fiscal year. Doole has been involved in instrumentation since 1979. Starting with thermocouple and RTD fabrication at Brian Engineering, he advanced to regional sales manager for United Electric Controls. Since 2000, he has been a senior sales specialist, instrumentation products, with Weir Canada Inc. (formerly Peacock Process Equipment & Brian Controls).
An ISA member since 1989, Doole spent 12 years with the ISA Sarnia Section, and has been with the ISA Toronto section for the past six years. He has been a member of the ISA Toronto executive for the past three years.
Doole holds an Industrial Instrumentation diploma from Humber College and a Business Management diploma from Sheridan College.

Their purpose was to unite various companies and manufacturers to create an environment where the practitioners in the field had an avenue to learn about products, services and the ever-changing technology.
