Toronto, ON — The Canadian Industrial Emergency Conference & Expo plans to locate the show in London, Ont., Sept. 19-20, 2007. CIE’s first show was held in Calgary in July 2006 and management felt a need to bring the show across Canada.
The inaugural show was held at the Calgary Fire Department training academy. It held 90 exhibitors and hosted four tracks featuring prominent speakers and keynote speakers Gordon Graham and Denis Rubin.
The exhibit hall was sold out months prior to the event, indicating a definite desire for marketers of industrial emergency services and products to have a forum where they can network, and educate their prospective customers and buyers.
CIE 2007 will be held at the London Convention Centre. The location of the event is within a two-hour drive of the various industrial centres such as Sarnia, Chatham, Toronto and Windsor.
CIE is Canada’s only show targeting the industrial emergency responder. Areas Those in attendance will be from such sectors as: Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Pulp and Paper, Transportation, Chemical, Construction, Airports, Utilities, and more.
“Attendees come to CIE with the intention to buy, specify and/or recommend products and technologies. In addition, they are treated to live demonstrations and given an opportunity to participate in professional development and information seminars. The seminars are focused on industry specific topics that better aid and assist the industrial emergency responder.” Reports Arnie Gess, sales manager.
A call for papers will be issued January 2007. However, those interested in submitting sooner may e-mail Lee Baker at firstname.lastname@example.org.
CIE is a joint venture between Falcon Ridge Group Inc and Expo Management Inc.
