Toronto, ON — Mississauga, Ont., mayor Hazel McCallion will officially open Canadian Manufacturing Week, co-located with Weld Expo Canada and Metal Finishing Expo, on Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2006, at the International Centre in Mississauga.
The biannual event, organized by Reed Exhibitions Canada, to take place Sept. 26-28, 2006, is expected to attract more than 7,000 manufacturing executives, professionals and technicians. The site is adjacent to the Pearson International Airport in Mississauga.
Commenting on her attendance and participation, Mayor McCallion said “Providing a platform upon which our manufacturers can share the latest technologies, products, ideas and innovations is critical in keeping us competitive on a global scale. Congratulations to CMW for making this event possible”.
