Kitchener, ON — The Southwestern Ontario Industrial Show (SOIS), organized by Reed Exhibitions Canada of Toronto, has established a strategic partnership with the Greater Kitchener Waterloo Chamber of Commerce, for the purpose of developing and growing Southwestern Ontario’s industrial marketplace.

Commenting on this new alliance, Steve Prahalis, president of Reed Exhibitions Canada, said “This relationship allows SOIS and the Chamber to help advance each other’s primary objectives: to develop and grow the local industrial marketplace. We are all excited about what we believe is a ‘win-win-win’ scenario. Everyone gains from this, including the community.”

As part of the agreement, the Chamber will be actively involved in helping to increase the awareness of the June 7-8, 2006, event through its various ongoing activities. Designed to attract quality attendance, the Chamber will also be hosting three key events at SOIS itself: an official Kick-Off Chamber Breakfast on opening day, including Chamber president Todd Letts; a Town Hall Luncheon on the first day, with a panel including a government official, executives from local manufacturers, and an economist; and a Keynote Breakfast on Day 2, including a high-profile speaker from the local industrial/manufacturing sector.

The SOIS trade show is a forum for manufacturing and industrial professionals from throughout Southwestern Ontario to find industrial solutions to their design, machinery, maintenance and supply challenges. For information and registration details, visit www.sois.ca.
